Hey folks, back again after a few blog free days.
Well its fair to say I'm coming off a much more sensible weekend than the last few so with a bit of luck and an ounce of hard work I will make a less of an indentation on the scales this week. I'm in a bit of an exercise zone at the moment. While I'm not entirely sure where the motivation is coming from I'm not complaining, just going with it.
Today I repeated my somewhat crazy trek of last week only this time in reverse. Now by that I don't mean I walked home from Uni backwards but rather I walked TO Uni this morning. I must have been dawdling the other day because this morning I did the 8 odd kilometre journey in 1 hour 25 mins and felt pretty good after. My classmates are very thankful that my campus has good access to showers I reckon.
As for my changing dietary habits well I feel that some of the old habits are slowly being condemned to the record books. My soft drink intake is down to just the odd can here or there and because I still haven't managed to develop much of a palate for the diet versions I mostly just steer clear of them all. I'm avoiding the grog as well for most of the week although as per my blogs of the last month I've tended to overdo it when I leave that rule at home.
I'm back at the paper next week for another fun filled week in sport. I'm really looking forward to this one because the Gold Coast Suns play their first AFL game on Saturday and the build-up will ensure lots of content is required for the paper. Hopefully I get the chance to cover a fair bit of AFL this week as I reckon it will be pretty exciting to be at the coal face for the birth of the competition's newest club.
It's back to the surgeon on Thursday to work out when my gammy knee will go back under the knife. I'll try to plan it to coincide with holidays but on the public system it's probably just a case of take it or leave I reckon. Time will tell I guess.
OK that's enough for now I reckon, I better get back to the hard work that is weight loss. If I'm going to get to that 110kg target by months end I can't afford any more blow outs.
Talk soon.

How about a weekly chart or a "change since last blog"
